Check the name of the file you downloaded and if it doesn’t say “aarch64” in the file name, you probably have an installer that is designed for Intel computers. If you have an M1 Mac, I dont think there is a way to run VirtualBox on it. It’s likely that you downloaded the wrong architecture installer. Download Ubuntu desktop and replace your current operating system whether its Windows or macOS or run Ubuntu alongside it. When prompted, select Move to Trash to remove the files that make up your VM. You can remove the virtual machine that isn’t working by right clicking on it in the a virtual Machine Library, and selecting Delete. You do not have to uninstall Fusion to deal with this as there is likely nothing wrong with Fusion. What is the name of the file you are attempting to install from?
